And Now on to a New Season!!
For Friday January 17th we have FREE Art Exhibit (Art Quilts by Amy Vigilante) followed by a FREE concert with gainesville's beloved Ricky kendall and Friends. Michael Claytor ----Banjo & Vocals
John Alexander---- Pedal Steel
Sam Moss -----------Vocals
Friday Jan 17th opening reception for the exhibit at 6pm and the concert starts at7pm
FREE TO THE PUBLIC !

Friday February 7th The Amazing 'Gatorbone Band'
One of my very favorite bands and in my opinion are every bit as good as the 'Alison krauss' band
with the honed singer songwriting skills of Lis and Lon Williamson, and the award winning musicianship of Gabe Valla and Jason Thomas. This promises to be an intimate evening to remember. Although Lis and Lon live outside of keystone heights, both Gabe and Jason have to travel. So this is a rare opportunity to see the entire band take you from dreamlike ballads to some of the best up tempo musicianship you could ask for.
They are poetry in motion!!
Doors open at 6:30 pm and authentic home made Indian dinners available from Sarah's Seasonings for $4 and Crepes for $5 as well as Organic fruit infused lemonade from Hoggtowne Lemonade Co. $3
Concert starts at 7:30pm and tickets are purchased at the door for $15.00 day of the show only.
So come home from work catch your breath and come join us for dinner and an intimate evening with some of the finest people as well as virtuoso musicians one could ask for..

This is a very rare occasion to get such talented singer/songwriter guitarists together like this.
Sam Pacetti is a favorite in this area and he is a world class musician and an incredible singer/songwriter and Walter Parks has been the late Richie Havens guitarist for over a decade. Walter has traveled the world with Richie and his own band for many years and he is bringing his soft side to The Thomas Center to perform acoustically from his two solo albums. They will  perform solo sets and then join forces to collaborate on material from both of their new CD's. Walter is featured on Sam's newest. This is one not to miss!!

Florida's Environmental Troubadour -Dale Crider

Here's an update for the Dale Crider tribute,

Dale wants to have a weekend long event at his property 'Anhinga Roost'. We've talked extensively about this and want to make it an educational workshop style event to teach people about sustainability in their local environment. This will Include trail walks on this amazing property to show edible plants and mushrooms and other topics of sustainability.

There will be guest speakers discussing Eco friendly and Green alternatives, all alongside some of the areas finest musicians performing throughout the weekend. Bring your canoe and launch up the road if you like, as well. Some camping will be available also. Dale Crider known as 'Florida's Environmental Troubadour', has dedicated his life to this cause. He feels that music is the cloth that can bind us to celebrate our environmental awareness.

To quote Dale "The leaves of Sustainability Are Changing" a phrase that came to him while looking out his window at a maple tree... So my initial intention was to honor this great man and all he's given for so many years and because He is who he is this is the way he'd rather have this event unfold.. He's walked the walk for over 6 decades and he's still walking tall... When we come up with a set date we will let you all know...
